G&G Technical Sales, a manufacturer’s sales representative firm founded by Frank Gillern and Young Gao, was merged with and inherited from WVTS (WepcoVintek Technical Sales) in 2021. WVTS was started in 1997 by William E. “Bill” Pollock and Kevin Colvin. All the founding members of the two firms were involved with Rogers Corporation. Bill passed away in 2012. Kevin Colvin will continue with G&G Technical Sales to insure a seamless transition going forward.
The combined company represents an expanded products and services. These range from SMT pick & place and PCB testing, inspection, cleaning, rework/repair machines, automation equipment, and components (RF switches, passive fiber optical products) to N2 generation, electrical and optical wire/cable processing, and micro liquid droplet spray systems. We serve the electronics, automotive and EV (electrical vehicle), aerospace and high reliability, medical/surgical, and other markets and applications in Arizona, New Mexico and Southern California.

Frank worked for Rogers Corporation for 34 years in a variety of capacities, including Engineering Management, Operations Manager, Division Manager, VP Operations of Durel Corporation (JV between Rogers and 3M), VP and Division Manager of the ACMD division of Rogers and finally VP of Corporate Manufacturing. He also served on the Board of Directors of two Rogers joint ventures - with Japanese and Taiwanese partners.
Young brings 25 years of experience in optical communications (Corning Inc.), electronics/PCB and wireless (Durel and Rogers Corp.), semiconductor, medical device and industrial automation in technical marketing, application engineering and sales, as well as distribution and sales channel management in US and Asian Pacific regions.
